Day 10 & 11

These days I did not feel like writing, therefore I will make two blogs today for 4 days!
On Thursday, I went with Karen to her work. The first thing on the agenda was the weekly Commissioners Meeting, which is broadcasted on TV. You can even see me sitting there, so I became a television star ! :))
After the meeting, we went to another building to see if they could use it as office space. We went for lunch with Commissioner Scott and some other people to eat something at Effie's, where you could eat for example Greek food, because the owner is Greek. After that we went back to the office. In the afternoon we went to the cell block under the Courthouse. We got a tour there. The people who get arrested come there first to give their fingerprints, etc. It was very interesting to see it!
On Friday, Karen and I went to Albright College. It is a college in Reading. We got a really nice tour there and we made some beautiful pictures! It really looks like High School Musical!! Paul and Andrea, who gave us the tour, were really kind! I even got a sweater, a bag and a bottle from them! It was really interesting to see how college is in the United States, because it is different than in Holland. I thought that college in Holland is expensive, but I don't think that we have to pay like $160,000 for four years in college! In the afternoon we went back to the office. After work, we went to the Walmart, which is a huge shop and than I mean really huge! You can buy everything there, like electronic stuff, but also vegetables, etc. When we finished dinner, we did an art project! We made chicks! A green, pink and yellow one with diamonds and other stuff. Elijah and I also played with some balls. After that it was time to go to bed, because the next day we went to New York! :))
